JS 95-60

The JS 95-60 variety of Soybean oilseed has an average yield potential of 1800-2000 kg/ha. The oil content in these seeds is around 16.6%. The recommended areas for this variety is Madhya Pradesh. The characteristics of this variety are determinate, extra earliness, high seed germinability and longevity so on and so forth.

PRATAP SOYA 1 (RAUS 5)

This variety of Soybean Oilseed called Pratap Soya 1 has an average yield potential of 3000-3500kg/ha. The oil content in this variety is 17.98%. The time required to maturity for this variety is 96-104 days. RAUS 5 is said to be resistant to girdle beetle and to stem fly and defoliators.

TAMS 98-21

TAMS 98-21 is a variety having average yield potential of 2200-2600kg/ha. The oil content is around 18.08%. This variety has been recommended to be grown in Maharashtra. TAMS 98-21 takes around 95-100 days to mature from when it’s transplanted.

PS 1347

PS 1347 is a variety which has a yield potential of 3100kg/ha. This variety has oil content of around 15.54%. This variety of Soybean Oilseed is Determinate and a compact plant type. The maturity period for this variety is around 123 days. PS 1347 is said to be resistant to YMV, Rhizoctonia aerial blight, and so on.

JS 97-52

JS 97-52 is a variety of Soybean Oilseed with a yield potential of 2500-3000kg/ha. The oil content of this variety is around 17.48%. The recommended areas for this variety are Central Zone and North Eastern Zone. The time take for maturity for this variety is 100 days.

PUSA 97-12

Pusa 97-12 is a variety of Soybean Oilseed released in the year 2009. This variety which is exported from Ukraine was released by the IARI. Pusa 97-12 has been recommended to be cultivated in the Northern Zone. This variety is said to be resistant to YMV and Charcoal rot.

BIRSA SAFED SOYBEAN-2

Released in 2009 at Ranchi, Birsa Safed Soyabean is another variety of Soybean Oilseed whose yield potential is around 2500kg/ha. Recommended to be grown in Jharkhand, this variety is resistant to bacterial pastules, Cercospora leaf spot, blue beetle and Bihar hairy caterpillar, so on and so forth.

MACS-1188

The MACS-1188 variety of Soybean Oilseed was released in 2013. This variety has been recommended to be grown in the Southern zone (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, A.P., South Maharashtra). This variety has High Oil content, early maturity and is known to be resistant to pod shattering and Rhizoctonia aerial blight and so on.
