SSF-708

The SSF-708 was released in 2012 at the releasing centre in MPAU, Solapur. The yield potential for this variety is around 1300-2200kg/ha. The oil content in this variety is around 29%. This variety has been recommended to be grown in Western Maharashtra. This variety is moderately tolerant of aphids.

PKV-PINK (AKS-311)

Released in 2013, the yield potential of this variety of Safflower is around 2200-2500 kg/ha. This variety was released in the releasing centre at SRS, Oilseeds, PDKV, Akola. The oil content in this variety is around 33% and this variety has been recommended to be grown in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.

NARI-57
